5. NARCOS (2015 – 2017)
A Netflix series that runs three seasons, with a total of thirty episodes. It documents the criminal activities committed by Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar and other drug lords during that time. It has also given exposure to Pedro Pascual, who is in the leading role. Narcos is based on a true story, however, one of its stars, Diego Calva disagrees and believes that it is full of lies.
6. FARGO (2014)
Most people are feeling doubtful when the TV series was first announced. They are getting worried that it could affect the reputation of the film. However, when the first season was streamed on Hulu, their fears quickly disappeared.
7. THE WIRE (2002 – 2008)
It’s hard to imagine having a thriller TV series with a stacked cast such as this one. The Wire was aired on HBO Max between 2002 and 2008. 9. CHERNOBYL (2019)
A thriller TV series that can be streamed on HBO Max. Among its stars include Jared Harris as Valery Legasov and Stellan Skarsgård as Boris Shcherbina. Chernobyl exposes the Chernobyl incident which occurred in April 1986. This nuclear explosion was considered as one world’s worst catastrophes. Despite the fact that the series only lasted for five episodes, it created a huge impact due to its unique depiction of the historic event. Did HBO got it right?
10. BREAKING BAD (2008 – 2013)
Breaking Bad, which can be streamed on Netflix is considered as one of the best thriller TV series. This is not surprising due to the fact that Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman have an amazing performance. The plot is explicitly detailed, showing how Walter White was able to emerge from being a desperate family man to a powerful drug kingpin.
